Within all her projects, she allows props to play their own character. Using these often unconventional items, she emphasises the humour and eccentricity women hold. Leaning into the bizarre, and set in environments that don’t feel over produced.
Her book ‘Womanizer’ is a collection of playful, even cheeky, images providing a view into women and their womanhood. Capozzi is fascinated by the complexity, power, and magnificence that women hold, inspiring her to make them the focal point of her work.
Her eroticism stems from an obsession with glamour, make-up, hair, and how they are explored by women. Capozzi puts emphasis in women’s fearlessness and their ability to not take themselves too seriously, believe in themselves and their choices, and stand with power.
While conceptualising each shoot in detail, she always puts rawness first, finding flawlessness and perfection to be overwhelming.
